自从2000年卫哲先生加入百安居中国任首席财务官以来，尤其是2002年升任总裁至今，在他的领导下，百安居中国已经从当时5家连锁店的规模发展成为今天中国第一位的家居装饰建材龙头企业，在全国成功运营50多家连锁商店，历年的销售和利润都保持持续增长。翠丰集团非常感激卫哲先生个人对百安居在中国的发展所做出的杰出贡献，特别是领导百安居顺利收购并整合了欧倍德中国的所有业务。

作为翠丰集团旗下第三大的子公司，百安居中国将一如既往地得到集团的长期重视和承诺。翠丰集团已经任命了马立思（Mariusz Gliwinski）先生为卫哲先生的继任者。马立思先生加入翠丰集团已有六年时间，曾经担任翠丰集团在波兰和中国台湾的总经理，并很好的将他在欧洲的零售经验结合到亚洲的市场和文化。马立思先生与卫哲先生将预计在年内完成交接工作。

David Wei, President of B&Q China has recently decided he will be leaving the business later this year to take up an invitation to join Alibaba, the leading Chinese internet conglomerate for personal career development.

Although Kingfisher and B&Q Asia regret his decision, we respect his choice and wish him every success in his new career.

Since the Year 2000 when David joined as CFO for B&Q China, and in particular from Year 2002, when David was promoted to the President’s role, under his leadership, B&Q China has grown from a 5 store chain to the largest home improvement retailer in China with over 50 stores nationally, enjoying continuous growth in both sales and profit. His latest contribution includes the successful acquisition and integration of OBI operations in China. Kingfisher Group recognizes and expresses sincere gratitude to David’s great personal contribution to this remarkable development of building one of the leading successful international retailers in China.

Being the third largest operation company under Kingfisher, B&Q China will continue to receive long term investment commitment. Kingfisher Group has appointed Mr. MARIUSZ GLIWINSKI as David’s successor. Mariusz has joined Kingfisher for 6 years and has been General Managers for both Kingfisher businesses in Poland and Taiwan, where he has well integrated his European retail expertise with Asian market practice and culture. Mariusz and David will start hand over with a target completion within this year.
